Spyd3r medium tank
Hello everyone, i am happy to present to you, the spyd3r. It is fast, agile and capable. Ag 1 enables turret, not reccomended during flight. Vtol up enables land movement, otherwise, it flies.
Roll and pitch controls the turret
Throttle and yaw controls the tank on the ground
Throttle yaw pitch and roll controls the tank in the air
The spyd3r was designed as an all terran troop transport, but HR Incorporated quickly realised its value as a multi role medium tank. The spyd3r surpassed all expectations on the testing feild, and was quickly put into production, with buyers from all over the galaxy lining up. With added turret and side armor, the spicky, as it was nicknamed, could withstand heavy fire without becoming compromised. The plated armor over the treads also meant that disabling its mobility was out. The fact that it could fly seemed almost like an afterthough. In all engagments, the spyd3r decimated opposing battle formations, and its low mechanical complexity and realtive cheapness made it a favourite among both troops, corporations and planets alike.

@Pilotmario @ShatterFox KNOWLEDGE!!!
@Pilotmario , but you know what I like more than this brand new and shiny Schurzen?@ShatterFox
@Pilotmario @ShatterFox ha lol
@ShatterFox You're welcome. :)
@Pilotmario ._.
@ShatterFox Yep. Those side-skirts were meant for Russian large-caliber anti-tank rifles, as they could penetrate the side armor of a Pz. III and Pz. IV, and if they couldn't, then they can shoot the tracks and drive wheels, which could disable it. This was their solution, ableit imperfect; crews hated it since it always got ripped off whenever they were driving through thick brush.
The more you know!
@Pilotmario O wut .-.
@ShatterFox Actually, the side skirts, known as Schurzen, were designed to counter Russian 14.5mm anti-tank rifles, as these rounds could still penetrate the thin sides and rear of a Pz. III and Pz. IV, not against HEAT rounds as commonly believed. While the Soviets were well-aware of the HEAT principle, but was primarily used in WWII for hand-thrown anti-tank grenades, which relied on striking the top armor of a tank, where it's armor is very thin. .
