The Provider Transport was the backbone of the Pilotmario Air Force's transport fleet during the First and the initial stages of the Second Olympian War. Its combination of reliability, cargo capacity and range gave the Army a considerable mobility advantage over its Olympian counterparts. Because of its durability, it was adapted into a Special Forces gunship and Heavy Bomber

During the Second Olympian War, the much-enlarged Army meant that they needed a larger aircraft to cope with this force. A solution was devised in the form of the Provisioner, a faster, heavier lifting, and more reliable aircraft. Gradually, the Provider was phased out, its Heavy Bomber variant replaced by the Dominator and the Special Forces gunship variant replaced by a Special Forces variant of the Provisioner. Some export customers still employ it.
