@JSTQ yep, armor is always important in combat unless you have a 200% chance of one-shooting your enemy before they even realize you’re there

@JSTQ Well, think World War II, the Zero's main weakness was its low armor, so valuing armor isn't a terrible idea.
As for your upgrade path, not bad
@TheUltimatePlaneLover ... It's not supporting attack planes, why should we value armor? Anyway, at least I have determined my upgrade direction - unmanned, miniaturized, and mass-produced development. Loyal wingman is a completely new combat concept, and aerial tanks are outdated.

If you mean why it keeps getting defeated? Low armor, it's one of my least protected planes.
If you mean why the upgrades (Interdictor and Syncopator) aren't out yet? Because I have big plans that would take quite a bit of work, e.g. the Syncopator getting its name from its thrust vectoring. Admittedly the AI side of it would be completely gone but at least it would be a better fighter which is what matters at the end of the day.

To be honest, I really want to retrofit this aircraft, but the majority of its maneuverability comes from its extremely low weight and wing load, and in fact, its design is not very stunning. But I really want to change to this plane because I can't bear it to become a background board. Can I modify it?
It's hard to imagine that you would think this plane is very weak…
