EMW A-9 c/d Raumjäger
The "Red Baron" of the Space Reich!
History:
The construction of the manned rocket EMW A-4b was Wernher von Braun´s first important step towards manned spaceflight. His desired destination, the moon, seemed to be close. On the mend thither there was, however, on the first place the military usability of the rockets, so von Braun continued developing them as pure weapons; financial and practical support came from the army. The next type, EMW A-9, was like EMW A-6/A-9 equipped with a tripod carriage making a re-use of the rocket possible after an operation. In the A-9 series, there is also an extremely late design (likely EMW A-9c or d), which was made soon before the end of war and held a few years after. This manned rocket was equipped with delta-shaped wings reaching behind the tail end and a slender elongated side rudder. Striking is also the extreme distance between nose wheel and the hind carriage feet. In post-war literature, this machine is called a “space glider” and should take over the function of a former space shuttle on a space platform. Still during war the EMW A-9c was called “space-hunter”, whereas it is the question what kind of opponents might have been defeated. The end of the war blocked further constructions, and after war the design was dropped because of too little economic use. This model displays the “space hunter” of 1945 in a fictive red variant.
Although (as the text says) it doesn't make much sense, I added 2 cannons specially designed for this model and instead of 4 bombs it has only 1 bomb with a 2.5 scale. Its top speed is less than the Kolkrabe but it is still over 1600 km/h and it maneuvers better!
How to use:
- Button 1: Open/Close Cockpit
- Button 2: Open/Close Bomb Bay
- Button 3: Stabilizer
Here the link of some of my creations that I recommend if you downloaded this plane.

Somewhere in Germany, 1945
Hey Hans look at there, it's a V-2 taking off toward somewhere..
Thats no V-2...
why?
THEN WHY IT FLIES NOT VERTICAL BUT HORIZONTALLY?!, AND WHY IT HAS LANDING GEAR?!?!
Maybe the Reich has a controlable V-2 I guess?
