The F10-? Zero, codename Hayabusa is a 4.5 Generation Naval Fighter developed in the early 2010s for Carrier operations.

Design and Lore

The Delta Zero is a Twin Engine, Twin tail, Delta wing Fighter capable of carrier based operations. conceptualised in the early 21st century as a Modern dedicated Fighter specifically to meet the operational needs of the Shinsei Navy Fleet Air Arm.

By the turn of the Century, Shinsei has developed itself as a formidable Military power in the region with its navy fielding 3 carrier task groups. While it's current naval Fighter, the Suisei has proven itself more than capable, Naval high command began entertaining the idea for something with a longer range and more reliable than a Single engine fighter, this led to the development of a new state of the art fighter with similar performance to the Suisei albeit with more flexibility in range and naval performance.

Drawing elements from existing Fighters such as the F2-Viper0 and J10 ith it's boxy Centerline intake and Falcon like nose, along with their overall delta wing shape, which is where most similarities ends. Capability for external fuel tanks and a Extendable Refueling probe helps increase the range of the Zero with its dual engines and Twin tails improving reliability and stability, important for naval operations in the open ocean.

As a Modern fighter, the Delta Zero has a limited stealth characteristics which entails jettisoning external Pylons along with its on board weapons, an Internal Weapons bay for a mix of A2A and A2G missiles and it's arresting hook and Refuel probe being hidden inside the fuselage when not in use.

ARMAMENTS

Despite being tasked primarily as a Fighter, the Delta Zero has the ability to carry a wide range of Air to Ground Weaponry, from Laser Guided and GPS guided bombs to Heavy Anti ship missiles stored internally. Air to Air weapons include medium and short range missiles to round out it's suprising Multirole capabilities.
