I created this plane taking a cue from some images I found online...
[Fictional story] The GCP-AC "Hammer" was born from the attempt to have an airplane that reaches high speeds with minor need for fuel. The idea was to have a plane that uses two small engines, which need less fuel, instead of one large jet engine. The position of them has also been studied to have the shape of the wing intact, without sacrificing space to put the engines. What came out was this strange-looking fighter, called "Hammer" for its particular design. It was fast and easy to fly, but landings were very difficult, so it became popular only among experienced pilots and aces, who renamed it "The Flying Toaster", again for its shape and color.
