The McDonnell Douglas F-15c 'Eagle' is an United States built tactical fighter used to obtain air superiority and to maintain it. The aircraft is currently one of the most successful fighters on the planet, having over 100 victories and 0 losses in air to air combat. The aircraft is not a multirole fighter and therefore cannot hold air to ground weaponary because the United States needed a dedicated air superiority fighter. However, the F-15E 'Strike Eagle' derivative can hold air to groud weponary and is currently in use as a strike fighter varient of the F-15c. The F-15 was built from the result of the Vietnam War. Most U.S aircraft that flew in the vietnam war had large radars and were generally heavier making them less effective in close range combat. The F-15 produced the idea that and aircraft needs speed and maneuverability rather than just speed in order to operate effectively. The result was a high speed, highly maneuverable and safe aircraft. The default loadout for the fighter is a interceptor loadout consisting of 4 AIM-120c AMRAAM missiles, 4 AIM-9m missiles and an external fuel tank (drop with AG 1). Fly safely and as always, have fun!!
NOTICE: This is my sixth replica attempt and my last fighter jet for a while (perhaps a week or two). Instead I'll be. Building WWII warplanes as requested.
