@Pilotmario hmm. Tru
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation IRL trench armor was only able to stop shrapnel, while the heavy browplate that can be fitted to standard Stahlhelm could stop rifle bullet.
However, given that most casualties were caused by shrapnel in the first place, the trench armor was effective for protecting sentries and machine gunners.
@Pilotmario there's an ever so slightly chance of redirecting trajectory of the Projectile/ricocheting the Bullet but then again it's a slight chance so it's pretty much a kill :/
@Pilotmario Yeah I think that's too much too lol it can't stop Anti Tank Rifles
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Also, I don't think it will be able to stop anti-material rifles (then known as anti-tank rifles), as even tanks of the era could not stop them.
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Sounds good!
@Pilotmario oh wait the armour? That's around 4. Two full sized plates on the front and back under clothing will be around 8 KGS in Total. And then Minor Sized plates on the Legs, Arms, Shoulder's and the Groin area including the front and back plate. With the helmet. Is gonna be around 17.6 KGS. The Gun and Extra Shovel, 2 Grenade's are gonna be 12 KG? So overall a pretty heavy soldier. Normally.
We'll expand down and unite the middle East considering that they're divides provinces and states now. What do you think?
@Pilotmario tis just 2.7 KG
I'd think that said armor would be quite heavy, and that said armor was usually worn for sentry duty or machine gunners (actual WWI German Trench Armor would restrict the user's ability to shoulder a rifle).
