Gyroscope Powered Plane
MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE HIGH PHYSICS MODE
My gear project has been not going smoothly, taking longer than expected. I haven’t uploaded anything for a while, so I decided to take a break from the gears and work on something new. As a result, I made this. It can fly infinitely, and used no mods. The Gyro Engine has many advantages over my Piston Engine, it is more stable, throttleable, and won’t blow up on itself. The only downside I’ve seen is that it does not spin as fast, which is why I have much more propellers than on my piston plane. Anyways, here is how to fly it.
How To Fly-
1) Put VTOL Stick all the way up
2) Throttle Up
3) It can fly like a normal plane now :)
Controls-
VTOL Stick: Propeller Pitch
Throttle/Yaw/Roll/Pitch/Trim all work like they would in conventional planes.
P.S. it will not work if you mirror the plane, you will have to invert the gyros and airbrakes on one side of you do.
P.P.S. After playing around with this, turns out that, like wih my gyrocar, you can actually fly underwater with this! Sadly, once you go into the wafter it is hard to come back out and fly. Basically you have to get down to about -100 feet then come up quickly and if you are lucky then you will jump out of the water and have enough time to take off. If that is too hard you can also just go to the surface and act like a boat until you get to land and takeoff from land. The reason this surpised me is that there are no buoyant forces on this plane lol.
P.P.P.S Turns out this thing can also fly backwards lol. Just put the VTOL Stick all the way down and take off. There is very little Yaw Control when you are backwards and the Yaw Control is inverted.

Creative! I love this
@noobBruhaaa this thing may be old but it can do just about anything XD
fun fact: it can fly backwards
Not by very much, since increasing speed would require more torque, which gyros do not have much of @Spacedoge12345plane
Could use a torque multiplayer to beef up the speed?
Sorry, it is my double universal joint, not universal joint. @MASB29
Thanks, it is my version of the universal joint. @MASB29
That joint is awesome
@IzzyIA Ok
I guess not, I don’t really see any reason to since I have the piston and gyro powered planes. @sexylips35
Um IzzyIA are you making a rotator-powered plane?
Do you want to make rotator-powered planes? It's up to you buddy. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Well those were made using mods. It a moral thing I guess lol. I just feel better when I know that none of my craft use mods. @sexylips35
So you don't use mods, Try this to make rotator-powered planes.
@IzzyIA Oh.
Sorry, I don’t use mods. And without using mods there is no way to make a rotator powered plane (that i know of). Even if I did like mods, I don’t think it’s possible to get them on IOS, which is my main platform for Simple Planes @sexylips35
@IzzyIA Hahahahaha, Can you make a rotator powered plane? You might need overload mod. Here's a link.
In my experience in creating and testing the two, I would go with gyro being the better deal. @sexylips35
So gyroscope-powered plane won.
One day, the Gyroscope engines will rise above all of the pistons and claim their title as best engine. Just you wait... @sexylips35
I think piston-powered plane won the race...
PISTONS- STRONG BUT DUMB
GYROS- WEAK BUT SMART
TUNE IN TONIGHT TO SEE WHO WINS
@sexylips35
Gyroscope-powered plane vs piston-powered plane!
Who will win?
Ahh that’s too bad, I love challenges lol @chancey21
To bad it’s over though
