The Fw-200 was a pre war aircraft manufactured in Nazi Germany, designed by the legendary designer Kurt Tank. After the outbreak of World War II, it was converted into a patrol/reconnaissance aircraft for use. In response to the entry of the Douglas DC-3 from the United States into the German market and its threat to local Lufthansa, Focke-Wulf decided to develop a new type of aircraft. Designed by Wilhelm Bansemir and developed by Kurt Tank, the prototype of Fw-200 made its first test flight in July 1937. This aircraft has been modified and flown across the Atlantic, setting a new record in national aviation history. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in old Japan had also purchased five Fw-200 aircraft before the war and had already considered converting them into long-range bombers, so they commissioned Germany to modify them. However, these five Fw-200 aircraft remained in Germany due to the outbreak of war. The Fw-200 also participated in the "American Bomber Program" due to its long range, although the program ultimately fell through (which is why I am interested in making this aircraft). The Fw-200 sank a total of 363000 tons of ships from August 1940 to January 1941 due to its long range and large payload capacity. Churchill once referred to her as the 'plague god of the Atlantic'.Because it was modified from a passenger plane, its actual combat performance was not very good, and the German army also tried to improve it. Until the end of the war, there were more than 100 different modifications of various sizes
