Gran Galleria GR-1 LMDH
G-Motors' take on the racing world. Unbound, Uncaged, Unbroken
Gran Galleria GR-1 is the actualization of G-Motors' Vision for a track specialized endurance hypercar that can be capable of entering future race events
Finished in Carbon Gray with Hermes Orange accents, it definitely embodies Gran Galleria's specialty for Speed and Luxury
THE CONCEPT
G-Motors have always had a vision of unleashing their vehicle's capabilities, visualizing a hypercar that is unbound by the limitations that they usually put into their crafts.
Using the Asvini's frame as their test bed, they tested the feasibility of their racecar, removing most digital pieces inside the Asvini, replacing the drag reducing parts with permanent winglets, and adding active aerodynamics that specifically adapts whether the car is accelerating or turning
The testbed proved to be successful, the modified Asvini registered lower top speed but vastly increased cornering speed and grip, definitely suitable for any lefts and rights that a track may throw into it.
The Asvini as an endurance car itself can already work, but G-Motors wanted to build a dedicated frame that further adapts to the track, countless wind testings and track test along with the help of the Gran Racing division of G-Motors helped to further develop the GR-1 that we have today
THE DESIGN
The GR-1 follows the design language of Gran Galleria, featuring an extended tail section that tapers as it ends, several intakes and active aerodynamics ensure that air passes easily through while still giving the car downforce during turns. All these breakthrough gave GR-1 a relatively low drag point of 1,968
The car features several active aerodynamics that keeps it's wheels on the ground, the GR-1's wings automatically switches between low drag and grip to high, making sure that the GR-1 can both accelerate and corner fast, these wings also aid in braking, to make sure it can brake quickly whenever needed
THE PERFORMANCE
The GR-1 is a track focused hypercar, and rules had to be followed for it to qualify
0 to 100 mph within 2.6 seconds
0 to 200 mph within 9.5 seconds
Confirmed Top Speed of 230 mph
Can lap Gold Prix around 1 minute 2 seconds
Relatively low drag point of 1968
Cornering speed around 145mph - 185mph
Credits
Demoman9 for providing me custom suspensions and a quick crash course lesson about these suspensions, the GR-1 may not have been possible if not for this guy
LotusCarSubs for the variables needed for the session time and fuel percentage, I merely just acquired it from his LF01 Formula 1 car
Creator's Notes
This car has been one trial and error type of build, with little knowledge about race cars. I also had to make the vehicle AI friendly, in fact, the whole testing phase consisted of of the AI bumping in the tunnel on the last turn at Gold Prix, at some occasions, the car either over steered or under steered, missing some rings and getting penalties.
It was a process of continuous micro fixes, every laps getting faster than the other, every turns getting faster to drive, until I eventually managed to lap within one minute and two seconds without missing a ring or bumping on the last tunnel, though there will be some rare occasions that it still bumps (I think it happens when the AI doesn't respond fast enough, but when it do responds, the car can even lap until it runs out of fuel)

-Realism 4/5: i'd say it looks a bit too futuristic, but at least it looks like a LMP1 car
@L3FT2R1GHT i made one, just check the successors
Le mans is coming
@AYEDAYE Could you make a short tail version?
He long
haha long boy
overall though this is still very nice, looking forward to the street legal versions, those look mental too
Cool!
@GRANDAYE hahahah nice, I’ll look forward to it, by the way, credits to you for the name choice, no idea if you are Italian but i think you chose a pretty cool and catchy name, i mean limitless does sound dope
@Tatti123456 unlisted build coming soon hahahaha, those extra wings are placeholders for the screenshot, but yes, let's do an actual driveable modified one
@BravoLima2k4 hmmmmmm, have you tried using it on high physics? I achieved the top speed using that setting
Very cool, love how absurdly long it is.
This design is great, i would love to get the modified asvini version, it looks dope honestly
Underrated design and LT.
@No023 fuckj no
@LotusCarsSub ,the brakes? Yeah the brakes, well uhmmm, errrr, uhhhhh
..... yeah, I definitely didn't thought about the brakes 🙁
Nevertheless, thanks for the great critique, much appreciated
@PapaKernels the rear section was partly inspired by the Porsche 908-04 Concept, so definitely one long boiiii hahahaha
@ShootsPlanes Nooni? I didn't know it was capable of that whahahaha, that's nice
I got an unconfirmed top speed of 282 mph before i ran out of runway, low physics and slow mode
This thing is llllllllllloooooooonnnnnnnngggggggg
@iloveworld4723 lmao 💀
The diffuser is bigger than my future😵💫
