This plane is ugly, Old school simple planes style.
It was created to test maneuverability ideas. It is capable of vtol, hovering, post stall maneuvering, reverse thrust, and regular flight (all without a gyroscope)

Regular plane controls + trim for flaps

VTOL:
0 = forward,
+.5 = up, (-.5 = down)
+1 or -1 = reverse

AG8 enables/disables the motors for thrust vectoring (except for yaw which is always activated)

There are some cool tricks you can do. Try to make your own. A really easy (funny) one to start with is using the thrust vectoring to spin in a circle on the ground and then take off with the vtol up halfway. (Then correct the spin while easing the vtol back down and fly out of it normally.)

This plane is also capable of decelerating very quickly using reverse thrust (vtol slider all the way up or all the way down)
or by using the air brakes (you can’t use reverse thrust and air brakes at the same time though)

Part of the reason that the vtol slider control is not completely intuitive is because I wanted AI to be able to fly it, which it could not if the vtol = 0 made the nozzles point up (which would seem like the obvious choice if I wanted forwards/backwards/up, as the positions for the nozzle). The weird vtol slider does have the added benefit of being able to point the VTOL nozzel down though. This allows some crazy midair post stall maneuvering.

some more fun tricks:
Taking off in reverse. Reverse the nozzels and accelerate to full throttle. As soon as the plane starts to wobble, move the vtol slider to half and take off. Then, gradually move the vtol, slider to neutral middle position and fly out.

Upside down hovering. Take off with vtol, or come to a stop mid air upside down by using reverse thrust. Then move the vtol slider to -0.5 position to hover upside down. (It will take some practice to make the necessary micro adjustments while doing this)
