Yakovlev Yak-15 (Russian: ??-15, USAF/DoD designation: Type 2,[2]? NATO designation: Feather[3]?) was a single-engine jet fighter manufactured by the Soviet Yakovlev design bureau during the 1930s. 1946 and 1947 based on the Yakovlev Yak-3 propeller model.[4] It became the first truly viable Soviet jetaircraft, in addition to being the first to enteroperational service in the Soviet Air Force.
