A fictional Japanese heavy fighter, inspired by Ace Combat and several popular animes. Its forward swept wings which can entirely pivot, grant this fighter good maneuverability, as well as the the ability to take off and land at low speeds. Large air intakes feed its massive twin engines, allowing the Murasame to reach a top speed of mach 1.7 at over 60,000ft. Despite this, the drag they create significantly lowers its speed at low altitude. This makes the Murasame ideal for high altitude conflicts. Though primarily an air superiority fighter, it can also easily be fitted with a variety of air to ground weapons on its lower pylons.
Features:
- Full scale semi-detailed cockpit with canopy rail
- Full wing flaps for STOL capability
- Springy landing gear, to compensate for terrible pilots who can't land
Notes:
- Land at 135mph, 10% thrust, at 10-15 degrees AoA for best results
- This thing can perform cobra maneuvers! Brake to 350 mph and reduce thrust to 0. Hold brake, and sharply pull up to cobra! Thrust 100% and release brake once nose starts to fall. Reset trim if stability is lost.
- Don't fly this with a keyboard. It won't work. Needs a joystick and gentle input.

@ColonelStriker It's just a wider and narrower cylinder built with a spring in between. Stack them all vertically, then nudge the spring and narrow cylinder up into the bigger one. Since the whole gear pieces are connected to a hinge, springs are modded to be 4x stronger than normal springs so they don't collapse under the plane's weight, because any parts following hinges or other joints are substantially weaker if they aren't heavy.
How do you make those springy landing gears? Any recommendations? Also Nice job!
@KCferrari so why not make an x02 replica?i like your ac replicas very much!
@KCferrari ah ok... I thought u do
@JoddyFubuki788 Nah, nothing to do with Gundam actually.. This is mostly a blend of Ace Combat's X-02 and Shinden II, with some Yukikaze and Macross stlye features
My my~ like Murasame at Gundam?
@Mumpsy Glad you like it
