XMF-1 Was conceptualized to counter another nation's threats after the brutal bombing of Avia's land.
2060-2065
First working prototype was produced and flew several successful flights.
2065-2066
Peace negotiations were made with the enemy nation so funding for the ARCHANGEL was significantly decreased.
2066-2070
Production halt. All ARCHANGEL prototypes were placed in a secure mountain facility located in [REDACTED] Avia.
2070-2075
Strange... UFO sightings spotted. Mysterious downed military aircraft reported, and discovery that other have been fighting a quiet war with these UFOs. Nicknamed by some as "Sirens". ARCHANGEL production was put into full steam in secret.
2075-2077
Hundreds of satellites launched into space capable of holding 12 missiles each. Said satellites were meant to work especially hand-in-hand with the ARCHANGEL, each craft having access to 6 of those 12 missiles.
2077-2080
Combat-ready "prototypes" were tested to take down "Sirens". Some "Sirens" were captured and interrogated before they briefly [REDACTED] themselves.
2080-2089
Drone versions of the ARCHANGEL were produced piloted by AI Clones of the pilots handling them. Pilot can communicate with ARCHANGEL-D via neurolink.
2089-CURRENT
Mass produced ARCHANGEL F-26 Produced. Have proven to be incredibly successful in the battlefield despite only having electronic warfare systems and reduced visibility coating and shape. Most notable pilot is Lt. "Polaris" Connors.

Aircraft was used exclusively in the ADF or Alliance Defense Force. An international collaborative military force capable of incredibly quick deployment to virtually anywhere in the world.
Life expectancy can be low, but the delivered democracy is high.
