Goss aerospace presented VX-1, a subsonic thrust-vectoring testbed, in 1975. The aircraft was built to demonstrate to the Ministry of Defense advantages of a super-maneuverable deck-based fighter. After many years of testing, the MoD lost interest in the concept. Butler aircraft would later pickup the programme in the 1980s under the name ‘Seavector’. Flaps retract with gear. Group 1 for wing folding. Group 2 for carrier arrestor gear. Group 3 for chute... Enjoy!
