Phoenix Industries F-50
After much contemplation, I have decided to put future and near future builds on hold for now. Currently I plan on doing more balanced airplanes, such as this one: A T-tail Delta. Originally, I had a traditional layout planned, but over the course of the build it ended up like this.
Superplanes are boring cause they're too powerful
There, I said it.
The F-50 also happens to be the first in the F-50 series: distinguished from the F-40 series by higher quality builds, putting fuselage part shape first, wing shape second.
I used many good techniques on this plane to give it it's look. I also decided to ditch the AAF markings from now on, instead relying on a stock model followed by potential repaints/remodels in the future.
I also flight tested this plane quite a bit, and while it does not bleed speed as much as my Peregrine, it still bleeds speed in a turn.
It's armed with four MSLs and a load of 8AAMs, as well as a 20 mm autocannon (actually a cannon part this time)
Overall this is a fun plane to fly with well balanced characteristics and good weapon load.
