The P18 Norton is an extraordinary plane. Built right before the Cold War, the British built this plane for the USAF. With a huge radar on the back, it could detect soviet fighters. It can also defend itself when in danger. The USAF found that during the Cold War, it was quite "ancient" and quickly replaced it with newer, jet powered P48 Vulcan aircraft. Pilots however love this plane because of its looks. It has got strange engines and a very long tail, which makes this plane unique
