Phoenix Industries AF-01 (Project 8117-03)

The AF-01 (Internally known as Project 8117-03) is the newer and updated production version of Project 8117. It forgoes all of the sorcery of it's previous versions to adopt an attacker role.
The AF-01 is quite heavy and slow, needing 20 seconds to complete a full loop, which is a huge departure from the unrealistic hypermaneuverability of the previous versions.
AF-01s are fitted with both an advanced Aviation Laser, and a pair of compact railguns. These weapons draw upon research from Project 8125 and 8122 respectively in order to bring a solid platform for these powerful weapons.
Direct fire weapons, especially in the age of jets, are near useless in air to air combat, so it comes armed with 2 LAAMs and 4 MSL, although against fighters it would probably be doomed if they got into range of the MSLs. Instead, the AF-01 pilots most often use them to attack ground targets should they withstand their long range beams and shells of destruction.
While the fuselage structure remains largely the same as it's predecessors, the AF-01 features completely redesigned wing construction, in order to accommodate actual ailerons, flaps, and a realistic shape rather than the static elipses of the previous versions

I think a revamp of all my old project planes is a bit overdue, and I hope you will bear with me through my painfully slow and inconsistent upload schedule. I decided to work on 8120 next, give it weapons bays and an armament overhaul, as well as general revision and realistic-ifying.
