Ford Police Interceptor Utility - Saylorsville Police Department
Based on ConvoyPerson’s Ford-Explorer-Police-CCPD
SPD serves the town of Saylorsville in Salt Lick county, just south of North Bend. Saylorsville is the second most populated city in the county, following the commuter town of Dardin, and is the county seat. The Saylorsville Police Department primarily utilizes all-red emergency lights, a departure from normal police lighting colors. The department website and small museum in the downtown station maintains that this choice of lighting is due to red lights being more visible through the fog that often settles on the town from the nearby Concordia River, but the red color is primarily due to historical tradition as SPD is one of the few agencies that refuses to adopt blue lights.
