Bandit M24 Ontos II

(1) activates tank. (2) activates commander's position. (4-6) fires the M310 106mm recoilless rifles. VTOL controls left track, Trim controls right track. Throttle controls hatch. Pitch and roll aim both weapons. The M24 Ontos II is a Paternian-made assault gun designed for airmobility. Characteristics-wise, it is similar to the IRL M50 Ontos, which it derives its inspiration from. It can fire its 106mm guns one at a time, in pairs for salvos, or all at once. This particular machine is set up to fire in salvos. While its firepoewr is certainly devastating, it does have some weaknesses. It's armor is thin, the machine has a high profile for its size, and the loader must leave the vehicle to reload the weapon. It is crewed by three: the commander/gunner, driver, and loader. At only 9 tons and equipped with a 600hp engine, it is an incredibly lightweight and maneuverable vehicle, able to traverse swampy ground that even infantry on foot would find difficult. In combat, the machine's impressive firepower was often a decisive physical and psychological weapon.

The Suyfan is a 40-ton main battle tank. This is a 9-ton assault gun or tank destroyer, depending on what it's being used for. You are comparing two very, very, different machines, designed to accomplish different things.

In a direct confrontation with a modern MBT, it will probably lose. But it was not designed for that. It was designed to ambush main battle tanks, where victory is far more certain. It was also designed with the ground pressure of a man on a pair of skis. It can easily cross ground that would hinder the movement of an unencumbered man.

Now a more sensible comparison is the M6A4 UPS AUTO TUCK II Ardent. And if you ask anyone who operated Paternian and Awwami equipment, they will say that the M6A4 UPS is a superior machine. For one, it has a coaxial machine gun. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

@Pilotmario So, You'd take 5 Minutes to retreat, Reload, and come back, pfft. the Sufyan Outperforms that, in our tests.

We considered an autoloading system, but decided otherwise due to weight and complexity issues. @JakeTheDogg

Well, the vehicle retreats behind cover before reloading the system. Apparently, this type of system seems to work fine, given the success of the Ontos in Vietnam. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

Wait but I know there's no autoloader... So a guy stands outside and loads the guns? Only to get headshotted seconds later? 😂😂
