Tanaka Caribou GTR 1995
Tanaka Caribou Gran Turismo Race spec V
The GTR, scourge of the strip. Terror of the track. Widow-maker of the wallet, too. The Caribou's 2.6 litre twin turbo SG26DETT Straight-6 engine revs all the way to 9600 RPM, propelling the chassis to over 230 mph. The GTR has an all wheel drive system, meaning quicker acceleration and sportier handling out of the same E-chassis platform. The tremendous 575 horsepower means the GTR needs extensive TRD aero work to stay planted on the road during acceleration. The Activ-Aero spoiler systems ensure that downforce is only given when needed, so you won't be held down unnecessarily, for a purer driving experience. The GTR is, however, heavier than it's RWD sister, so braking has taken a bit of one for the team. But with how fun the car is, you may never want to brake. Independent suspension all around ensures smooth handling and a gentle ride. The car is no highway robbery, coming in at $120,000. But after you finish feeling that hit, you're bound to have smiles for miles to come. Buy the Tanaka Caribou GTR today.

@Supermini555 The spinning-out has been a challenge for the top-trim E-chassis. I might make a drift-tuned GTS soon.
@Jackie
Note: Quite easy to spin out
Points:
Looks: 8/10
Nice car design! A simple cockpit, but great aesthetics
Performance: 7/10
Speedwise, a very fast car. Good use of active spoilers, however, it is spin-happy
Drift Prowess: 3/10
Always spins out, however it can do some interesting donuts and reverse donuts, even J-Turns
Total Marks: 18/30
A good car overall, what you could do better is to adjust the sideways traction
Changed the AWD to RWD for testing @Jackie
@Supermini555 Have at it!
I'll be taking this for a spin @Jackie
@FasterThanLight Close! I was aiming for a 180SX for the front end, but it does look more like an FD RX-7.
Awesome!
It reminds me of a cross betweed a Mazda RX-8 and a Nissan GTR!
