GA-1-A Gaia

7,203 Xogo  8.8 years ago

A basic ground assault aircraft built under modernist doctrine (Form follows function), this thing ascually flies better than most of my fighters. Oops. Anyway, the base loadout is what you wouldn't go past IRL (Small pylons would only hold rockets in this situation), though you can throw whatever you want on there. Fuel is a little low, but adding more would mean making the craft very nose heavy, and I don't want to spoil it's damn near perfect flight charicteristics. I would reccomend not ujsing keyboard controls (For those who don't know, right clicking turns your mouse into a joystick that uses the whole screen, which is great), as maximum pitch tends to put the craft on the verge of stalling. Pulling any harder would likely put you in a spin - this thing stops you just before that. Number keys 1-7 activate the pylons (From wing center, to wing edge), and there are also twin miniguns either side of the fuselage. The nickname "Gaia" comes from the designation, GA-1-A (Ground Attack 1, variant A)
