The Jylisevä Ukkonen (Roaring thunder) is a Finnish air force jet from the early 1970s. It was a unique indigenous design having the horizontal stabilizer on the front of the aircraft as well as a thick fuselage. It became known as the "suomalainen ruma ankanpoikanen" (the Finnish ugly ducking). It has 6 pylons, intended primarily for air-to-air missiles, and two cannons.
