Tyrrell DG016
The 1987 Tyrrell DG016, mainly funded by DataGeneral competed in the 1987 FIA Formula One World Championship
Created by Maurice Philippe and Brian Lisles, this beautiful car was powered by a Cosworth DFV, 213.2 Cu in V8, putting out 575 horsepower
Driven by Jonathan Palmer #3, and Philippe Streiff #4, this beast made it’s debut in the 1987 Brazilian Grand Prix, placing 10th, and 11 in the race, the car and drivers followed through the season as a middle grid team.
Tyrrell was eventually bought by British American Tobacco in 1997 and completed its final season as Tyrrell in 1998, with both drivers DNF along with multiple others on the grid, Tyrrell had its last run.
