INTRODUCTION

This is my first entry for the Teranivo Isles War Challenge by @lewishasnoiq. It is an attacker, but it has some fighter characteristics. Btw I did not use more than 4 missiles.

HISTORY

Before the Teranivo war broke out, the Union got from Golden Arrow 43 Pistrises by leasing. It was meant to be used by them as a low level striker, but when the War started its role changed.
First of all, those 43 planes were finally bought by the Union and other 17 were also taken. Because there were many naval skirmishes against Omenian Forces, the Union decided to use the Pistris as an anti-ship attacker. In fact it used 2 anti ship Swedish-produced missiles, 2 MK82s and 2 GBUs against lighter target. It operated in groups and scored multiple kills against the Omenian fleet. This increased so much the morale of the Union forces that other 12 planes were bought in 1981.
This plane was also capable of shooting down air targets, thanks to its 2 30mm cannons and 4 AIM9Ls all aspect missiles.
In the book Memories of a War of the journalist Laurie Phemie, a GA-22 pilot said:
“The Pistris was what led navy pilots to fight harder. Until then we were getting striked everyday, but when the Union bought more of these planes our morale rose up.”
That pilot told that to Laurie in the June of 1982, two months before dying after a brave action trying to sink a ship on its own.
The motto of the Pistris is “Together we can” as it mostly flew in strike groups.
The war ended with few of these shot down and other grounded due to problems found in the system after a lightning storm, even though the plane is an all weather one.

How to fly

-To take off normally-
Throttle to military power (94%) or 100% if needed fast reaction
Flaps to Half
Pull at ~450kmh TAS
-From a CARRIER-
Full flaps and trim
Throttle max

-To land (normally and on a carrier)-
Approach at 400kmh
Slow down
Touch down at 250kmh
Use brakes and drag chute
