LD1-11 "Klayman"
Laser(Radar)/visual Targeting Pod
Does your missile have a very limited lock-on angle? Are you sick of losing locks on surface targets? Would you rather not fly straight at a trigger happy angry target to guide your bomb?

The LD1-11 Klayman laser/visual designation pod is just FOR YOU! Get one today and use it to blow up those pesky destroyers, or the sneaky rebel convoy!
This kit does not contain any guided munitions

Something a little different from my previous builds. I've been trying to differentiate each series of my guided bombs (Lawn Mower, UMOR-N, and Mike TV), and something reminded me of the existence of laser designator. Took me some experimentation to build a working pod, as I was unable to use camera for missile locking at first.(Turns out, camera 'part' itself has to rotate for locking; I didn't know about this, and I was trying to build a convoluted mechanism that rotates a cockpit part in sync with the camera on the pod... which did not work well, and messed up the chase cam.) As this was meant to be used on my 1960s-70s attack aircraft, I looked to Pave Knife targeting pod for inspiration. Curving of the fuselage is a result of that.At first, exterior looked more like the real thing, but something came over me and I decided to make it look the way it does now. Stupid klay people are the best.
Enjoy!
