History: The Vargus Engineering V-1A Osprey was designed in 1996 and meant for air shows or private use. Initially conceived by (former) Lietuenant Roger Vargus, the V-1A featured a bubble canopy that could be jettisoned if needed. The cockpit came with a fire extinguisher under the pilot's seat. The V-1A's fuselage was made of a metal composite with the wings being made of wood. The aircraft could be bought as a kit or from plans. Only around 150 V-1As were manufactured before the company decided to move on to the V-1B (1999) and the V-2 (2001). It had a great roll rate and climb rate, but a top speed of only around 200 miles per hour. It was usually fitted with a 500hp (373kW) engine, but occasionally fitted with a 1,200hp (895kW) engine (the V-1X). It performed well at several air shows until one suffered an engine fire upon attempting to land. The pilot suffered major injuries, but recovered. After said incident, the V-1A was pulled from competitions and air shows, eventually only being owned by private buyers. The base cost for the aircraft was $23,000, meaning that it was readily available to the public.

@DestinyAviation I don't like doing colabs. I'm currently doing my first colab ever with Johndfg, and even though Johndfg is a great guy, it's just repulsive. So, probably my last colab ever... Also, I'm nearing the end of the boring part of the day, so... If it's not urgent, I might check it out tomorrow around noon, in some 17 hours. I'm booked till then. Sorry.

I will be uploading an aircraft later and was wondering if you wanted to add more of the finer details to it. I've already added some, but my iPad was lagging too much to continue (which is strange because it's not too terribly big). @EternalDarkness

The reason that I've been building these smaller builds is because I haven't had much time to go on SP and because I am running out of ideas, but I've got something in mind for this build. @EternalDarkness

@DestinyAviation I noticed you have uploaded a couple of really simple planes recently. I hope you are not planning to go ccooper's way. One ccooper is more than enough. Please make more of those great builds, like your He-1080 or your mechs. Otherwise, you will lose at least one follower, me.
