True Hovering Helicopter - it can stop in the air by turning on/off using AG1

AG1 hovering autopilot system (on/off)

When AG1 is on, the helicopter will slow down until it hovers without moving forward - (so turn off AG1 to move forward again)

AG1 can also use while landing. AG1 on, move down the VTOL slider, and reduce the altitude. I will say this is the easiest helicopter to operate.

AG8 for general gyro on/off

How to fly:

Throttle must be at 100% all the time from start to land.
You will control the elevation aka upward and downward movement by using VTOL. VTOL at center / zero will bring the helicopter down. It’s easy- try a few run and you will get it. This method covers most of all my helicopters.

History

U.S. Marine Corps UH-34Ds over Vietnam, 1965.

The Sikorsky H-34 "Choctaw" (company designation S-58) is an American piston-engined military helicopter originally designed by Sikorsky as an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft for the United States Navy. It has seen extended use when adapted to turbine power by the British licensee as the Westland Wessex and Sikorsky as the later S-58T.

H-34s served, mostly as medium transports, on every continent with the armed forces of 25 countries. It saw combat in Algeria, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and throughout Southeast Asia. Other uses included saving flood victims, recovering astronauts, fighting fires, and carrying presidents. It was the last piston-engined helicopter to be operated by the United States Marine Corps, having been replaced by turbine-powered types such as the UH-1 Huey and CH-46 Sea Knight. A total of 2,108 H-34s were manufactured between 1953 and 1970.

I gotta be honest, as much as I enjoy your challenges, your original fixed wing builds are kind of „hit-or-miss“ for me, but your helos are consistently cool and well made, all while keeping it simple. Really enjoying these!!
