An ornithopter that can fly at high speed, take off from the runway, and is mobile friendly! When taking off from the runway, slide VTOL all the way up, and go at 40 percent throttle until your tail stops banging the ground. Then, pitch up while sliding VTOL down.

Unless you have discovered a new technique of flying this thing, this is not a VOTL. I used VOTL to control the wing position as I wanted to be able to trim the tail.
