OK so first off - this is an Alpha release! it seems harder and harder to try and be original in this game. there are certainly some amazing builders here.
The Hrunting was designed to be as different as I know how.
I'm pleased with this first release - but that's not to say I Dont need to fix a couple bits. as you will find - roll is its biggest problem in that its absolutely savage! I also need to take a look at better Yaw. Other than that it flies well and reaches 1500mph - where its happiest flying.

I'd appreciate your feedback/tips - thanks!!

@ahappyape alright mate, sorry missed this one somehow. Well I can't see in my head how it will handle with just vectoring, and good? Yaw seems to be a total dark art. There are so many factors that seem to affect it. For instance I always get terrible yaw from all of the sweapt back vertical stabilisers, diminishing it's function somewhat. The taller and the higher above the COM and COL and the further back, the seemingly better. For this very reason I hardly ever make good Yaw planes. That's my basic understanding of it anyway

@hypnotoad I've already come up with a much more manouvreable version of this - now the rear thrusters pitch - and I got rid of the only 2 control surfaces - so on paper it has none :-). I'm struggling with the yaw if you can help. What ever I do - it only makes the craft roll not yaw. Have any tips?

Cool looking plane, but I didn't realize how cool it was until I rolled.

Looks awesome, but alas cannot download. I can use Apple apps & Android apps on Amazon but not Google play store. This is not likely to change. Good luck with the Google app Beta working group!

@ahappyape right your plane now comes with a warning saying it requires the beta version to download and use. Sucks for me on my mobile mate.

@ahappyape haha, funny how working like this makes us solve the issue in the same way. You weren't separated at birth perhaps! Lol

@hypnotoad I had to use the modded tank :-) absolutely no other practical way to balance a design like this.

@ahappyape Ahhhhhhh, I get , it must be having to overcome all of that wing surface area up frot, given you wouldn't have wanted to shift the mass about you would have had no choice I guess. Interesting the issues you have to solve when working on such wacky planes. Keeps us sharp I think, I had a similar issue recently with my latest plane, but managed to get a modded fuel block, which gave me finer control of the COM. Again mate I have tried and submitted several bug reports but the download always fails on me!!!

@hypnotoad the balancing was "interesting". Your usual setup - COM in middle and COL a little behind didn't work on this. I had to put the COL much further back than I usually would just to get the dam thing to fly. Let me know anyways :-)

@ahappyape mate, you have far exceeded my design benchmark. Believe me I'm flattered but I have to bow to your superior work here mate. given you raised the bar so high now chap, you'll have to keep it at this level. Hahaha, that's a TALL order for sure. I am excruciatingly annoyed it won't download for me, I will not give up trying. I am desperate to see how it goes. Really want to see how you balanced it.

@ahappyape I'll try when my lazy self fumbles away from this desk to get my phone. Also your resident spell checker? How does "resident" fit there?

@hypnotoad - thanks for the enthusiasm! Please try to download later - I'd love you to try it. It doesn't fly as well as some of yours - but considering the very odd layout I've gone for - it flies well. Thanks for the tip on the stab - I'll defo amend that. And I'm flattered you think it looks nice - yours are the benchmark I work to / try my hardest to better :-)

@Mkenz - thanks my resident spell checker! Weirdly it won't let me get rid of it when I edit - no matter what I try. Did you fly it? Love to know what you think if so

Goodness me!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing. I will be honest; I am very jealous, very very jealous, infact I am going to stop following you as this has utterly depressed me. Hahaha, lol. Dude this is truly spectacular. Wonderful, no, beautiful design, totally unique and really eye catching . I am amazed that you managed this. Well done sir, did I mention that I am jelious? Ok, well I have tried 4 times to download this and I get a failure notice each time, so this rating is purely for your design work, which if I could give you 10 stars I would. Looking at it, the rear stabiliser is sweapt forward, so the control surface will be diminished somewhat. Reverse this and you should be golden.
