SU-1/52 artillery
a soviet nuclear bomber capable of dropping a bomb from wright to the ice base and return sparing half of its fuel...
It can survive the 90MT explosion in a height of 30,000 feet already showing its nuclear might.
The pilots can leave it at max trim going from north to south within minutes.
Its VLS like flare cell design allows it to carry 750 flares.
The backstory:
The year is 1947 and the hostile American leader [REDACTED] has broken the nuclear armament limit treaty and started mass producing bombs that could have 30 megatons of explosive.
May 26, 1948 Minsk is nuked by a B 29 SF
April 17, 1948 Volgograd is also nuked
The soviets must retaliate, they then came up with multiple designs and ultimately ended with the SU 1/52 (straight up reference from SU 152 derp gun), a bomber that could carry a 90 mega tons of bomb, stealth wise, and manufacturing cost wise, 7 bombs and bombers were built and sent to nuke the west coast. Giving it the name artillery, due to it being launched behing protected cover of siberia
The US clearly sees the threat and decided to overthrow their leader who was also revealed to be an imperial reich commander who wanted to avenge the imperial reich from the 2nd great european war and the next president then came to the soviets asking for peace.
