Build a WW1 aircraft to dogfight the legendary Red Baron in his Fokker Dr.1 triplane. There are some rules:
1. Your aircraft can either be a replica or fictional but must be styled off WW1 aircraft of the time.
2. The fastest aircraft flying during WW1 topped out at 149mph in level flight at sea level, so yours must not be capable of over 150mph in these conditions - it can exceed 150mph during dives.
3. You aircraft must be less than 10m in length, 10m in width and 4m in height. I will allow small exceptions eg. 10.7m or 4.2m etc. If the replica you're designing was larger than these dimensions in real life then I will accept that also.
4. No XML modding for performance but scaling is allowed.
5. Weight values will not be judged however please don't have an aircraft with negative weight.
Please make as a successor (cockpit block in inside the Red Baron's head). I will accept existing aircraft - just post the link in comments. I will judge entries by dogfighting each entry against the Red Baron and if several aircraft defeat him then I will dogfight them against each other to find the Ace of the flock.
The AI will be flying all aircraft during the dogfights for a fair outcome.

@DownUnderWing Okay.
An old student in my school who was in WWI died from the red baron...poor chap
@pushthelimits Upload it!
@DownUnderWing I could upload it and have you try to get the guns to fire in the dogfight since the problem could be with my first gen. Kindle that I have this on.
@DownUnderWing They will fire in sandbox mode, but whenever I have the computer control it, they never do.
@DownUnderWing The kite is uploaded. You may take her for a spin.
I've found biplanes to be superior to the triplanes if you can tune them correctly. Love to see the Se5a make a return! @GhostHTX
@DownUnderWing Building the Tripe taught me a fair few things about biplanes in SimplePlanes. I think I will take another shot at fine tuning the SE5a.
Awesome! I will test it later today.
@Picklemaster
I made a Fokker d7
That's fine you can only have a wing gun as weaponry. When you fly it in sandbox mode do the guns fire? If they fire in sandbox mode then they will fire in dogfights. I occasionally get that message too.
@pushthelimits
@DownUnderWing I have basically finished the plane, but whenever I test it in the dogfight, it says I do not have any weapons, no matter what weapons I strap on to it.
@DownUnderWing Right now I am just trying to get more control.
Love to see an entry from you!
@pushthelimits
Roger, Roger. I'll test them today! @GhostHTX
@DownUnderWing This seems fun.
@DownUnderWing Thanks!
@DownUnderWing Challenge acepted. You can give the SE5a(v3) and Dh.2 a go, if you like?
Yep I'll give it a test flight to make sure it doesn't exceed 150mph at sea level
@Joco80
Can I enter this? https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/4ehSVO/WWI-Two-French-Nieuport-N
@WEAPONSMITH
Thanks!
Hope to see an entry if you have time!
Hayhayjam664 - Sopwith Camel
No problem. I reduced the engine to 1500HP and prop size to 120 inch and it flew at 149mph so it wouldn't be hard to modify this one if you didn't want to start from scratch.
@MechWARRIOR57
no ill make a new one @DownUnderWing
I tested her at 207mph at 34ft ASL. Can I make some modifications to make it WW1 spec?
@MechWARRIOR57
