The F-20M is a license built version of the US built Northrop F-20 Tigershark modified to fit the criteria of a light fighter for the Wright Air Force. Modified and produced by Wrightnichevsky Aircraft Plant (Commonly referred to as Plant 37) the aircraft was fitted with the homegrown HL-42B engine which was a slightly weaker engine than the original engine. Used mainly by the National Guard, several squadrons F-20Ms were deployed and refitted for multi-role duties in the wake of the second Wright-Snowstonian conflict.
