This one is for those who like smooth shapes, but were frustrated about not being able to run them on their devices.
The HYRECS (Hypersonic Reconnaissance and Strike) program was initiated in 2021, when the need for rapid, flexible reconnaissance and strike in denied areas highlighted the lack of capability of then-available platforms. Top brass complaints like "we haven't had a really cool plane since the SR-71" are speculated to also have been a factor.
The HYRECS lies dormant in orbit and is launched from there, giving it a tremendous boost in speed from the get-go, a reduced time to target, and a much harder to detect launch signature. The airframe is 3D printed in one solid block of heat-resistant ceramic, with cooling channels built into the structure itself. Fuel is piped through these channels before being combusted, serving as a coolant. From its cruise altitude of 90,000 feet, the HYRECS can photograph an area 300 miles by 180 miles in one frame. It carries two plasma cannons that can take down aircraft carriers in a few shots, and as a last resort, the entire aircraft can be sacrificed as a kinetic weapon, though at $600 million a pop, it really is a last resort.
In real life, the HYRECS isn't very maneuverable and can only be launched from space, however, this being SimplePlanes, it can take off from a regular runway, and handles like a dream.

@enzoBoeing757 Well, first of all, thank you. Second, you shouldn't feel bad about how your planes compare to anyone else's. I've put in quite a bit of time into the game and have some unique skills. If you go around comparing yourself to other people you'll always feel terrible, because there's always going to be someone better than you at most things. I can't run as fast as a professional sprinter or lift as much as a pro powerlifter. And that's fine by me :) The only person you should be competing with is yourself. Every day, try to be a little better at something than you were yesterday, and you'll be happy.

@Notaleopard You can grab the plasma cannon off this build, it's the cylinders attaching the finned barrels to the gun/aircraft body. If you build on PC or Android, get the X-ray mod, it'll let you see what's inside a build.
Advice for making a flight module would require a medium-length essay. If enough people ask for it, I might write one. You can take apart my flight modules, tweak things and see how the changes affect performance. Or just use them as they are, of course.
Yeah, a lot of people have been asking me about tags, so I thought, let's add them, see what difference it makes. (Apparently, none).

It will reduce the time needed to create an Aircraft since the only thing to worry is the Appearance
