PocketBoats: Asama Maru

This is the third addition to the PocketBoats line. The Asama Maru was a Japanese ocean liner built by the Mitsubishi Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in 1927. Asama Maru entered service in 1929 and served as an ocean liner until WWII when she was converted into a troopship. Asama Maru served two years in this role until she was torpedoed by the USS Altue and sunk in 1944. This model depicts Asama Maru when she first entered service. This took way too long to make mainly because I forgot about it for awhile and school is also a thing, but now that summer is here I can put more focus in these 1/10 scale models. This ship was requested by Jaspy190, Enjoy!

Hello? Why you not make other Pocketboats again?
@DoggyDev I posted the Troop Transport version. I personally think she looks quite smart in Sea Foam green!
@Jaspy190 go ahead with that I don’t mind. And if you want I feel the hull shape can be done better so if you can make improvements please do
Hey, can I post two different variations of this ship? I want to do one of the Tatsuta Maru, Asama Maru's sister ship, in her repatriation colours. I also want to do one of Asama Maru in her troop transport colours.
HURAA! DANKE SCHÖN!
