The Starcrest United/Starbound Dynamics SCF-55 Condor was a Cold War era supersonic interceptor developed in 1970 to test the limits of how fast an aircraft could go. It also set the standards for the speed of future Starcrest aircraft. The aircraft has a top recorded speed of approximately 2200 mph, or mach 2.867. While that is true, legend suggests that the aircraft has hit target speeds of up to about 2500 mph.
