If you were lucky enough to pass selection for the Royal Air Force throughout the pst war years, whether you were flying the Lightning, Sycamore or Beverly you would have done your initial training in this machine.
A replacement for the tiger moth this was sold to both civillian and military customers so luckily there are a load still flying today.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeHavillandCanadaDHC-1Chipmunk
There arent too many of thses in the game so I built this one quickly yesterday.
Very simple, ag8 for lights on and off and VTOL up for flaps.
It has realistic performance stalling at about 45kts and cruises at 90kts at 70% power so similar to actual speeds, dimensions should be close to 1:1 scale.

I am jealous! Sounds like you got a good pick of the best aircraft this country has ever had. @Alien
I didn't want to admit this, but... my initial training and first solo was in a Chipmunk. I can still hear the "Boom chuff chuff Bwoooarr!" of the cartridge start Gypsy Major engine. I guess that makes me officially old.
Very nice replica . Great job .
Grand job!
It’s pretty unstable, but it’s easy to get used to.
