Boat: activate 1, put it half the way down. Deactivate 1. Activate 7. Pull the vtol all the way up. Deactivate 7. Activate 3. You have a boat. Plane: activate 2 and put it almost or all the way up. Then activate 1 and put it all the way down. Activate 3. Voila. Yay.
