Based on the M-12 "Chicago" GMC (which mounted the 76mm M1A1 cannon (later mounted on the M4A2 (76)W) the M12 was bought by the CCF in 1992 at the start of the civil war as Anti-tank and troop carriers. In 1997, twenty six of the fifty-five were outfitted with the 85mm general purpose gun and we're reclassified as IFVs.
