Midbury 2E TransFighter
975 FlyHigh
6.9 years ago
This extraordinary plane was used by both the English and the American army. The TransFighter was designed to carry passengers from base to base, but also to function as a fighter plane. Super efficient, but in reality, the Transfighter was too big and slow for air battles and too small and unstable for passenger transport. The Transfighters were stored in a desert base, which was abandoned in 1951. The planes are still there, under 5 meters of sand.
