Developed by Elaine Tovayavrev, the TY-1 is the main light tank of the Peronian military during the first border war. Created during 857 (1916 in our timeline) the Tovayavrev was well ahead of its time creating the baseplate for modern tank designs.

Armed with a 37mm gun and a 308. HMG the Tovayavrev was originally used for anti tank purposes but then switched to both infantry support and AT roles due to the effectiveness of the tank against infantry also. Setting the benchmark for what would be known as the Lightning War Doctrine the TY-1's mobility allowed it to flank enemies effectively alongside other allied tanks nearby due to its high quality radios.

First seen during the battle of Alonia the TY-1s of the 21st Armored Brigade of Peronia successfully took out 10 land battleships at the cost of 2 of the TY-1s allowing them to capture the city and allowing the other groups south of them to fully encircle the 41st Dreilandt Armored Battalion in the city of Dortmund.
