The Ta-283 (Fictional) is a product of Germany's desperation to deter Allied bombings. Using a modified Jumo 004 engine and a lightweight body, the 283 could meet Allied bombers and fighters face to face within minutes of taking off. The Ta-283 entered service in January 1946, and solved many of the problems plaguing it's predecessor, the Ta-183.
