Some fictional history:
The F9G Mustang was a naval variant of the P-51H to be able to operate on aircraft carriers, it participated in the Korean War as a ground attack aircraft, replacing the P-51D to perform those tasks, it was heavier than the P-51H so which had poor performance but was still fast (but slower than jets).

The aircraft it's armed with:
- Six M3 Browning
- Two 1000 lb bombs
- Eight 127 mm rockets

- Change vision position to try to see under the nose with key 2
- Drop all bombs with key 3
- Launch all rockets with key 4
- Retract wings with key 5
- Extend hook with key 6

Without suspended armament: 154 mph / 247 km/h
With suspended armament: 168 mph / 270 km/h
If you want, remove the suspended armament to be only a fighter.
(I didn't know how to make the propeller not break when landing with the hook on an aircraft carrier.)

Love the addition of the rolling canopy opener. Small lil details like that make a build for me.
Note: fun fact the north america aviation, the people that responsible of the creation of the legendary P-51, actually they've did have a plan to modify the mustang version H to able fly and land on carrier, but the US navy didn't have interested of the plan because they already have heavy multi-role fighter like the F6f hellcat and the light and fast multi-role fighter like the f4u corsair, and why you need more fighter aircraft if you have two aircraft that can do the job. And that's why the US navy rejected the proposal and this aircraft never have the chance to fly.
