[Part of my scaled WW2 series - All aircraft built to scale, with accurate weights, speeds and flight characteristics to the original.]

One of the first jet bombers, this soviet prototype had suprisingly docile flying charicteristics for a bomber with four early turbojets. Featuring a unique flattened oval fuselage, the aircraft had great capacity for fuel and ordinance. Shown here is a torpedo variant.

INSTRUCTIONS - TAKEOFF - VTOL down (closes bay doors). Pitch up, hold up while deselecting ACT8 (lowers flaps). Throttle up.

INSTRUCTIONS - CRUISING - Once in air, Gear up. reactivate ACT8 to raise flaps, then deactivate ACT8 to maintain raised flaps during pitch maneuvers.

INSTRUCTIONS - BOMBING - Skirt the ocean at low level to target. Use cockpit targeting, make sure you lead target. VTOL to neutral (Lowers bomb doors). ACT1 and ACT2 drops each torpedo. Try to knock out the two destroyers in a single attack run, leaving the carrier unharmed.
