26.8k RASEN1914  8.6 years ago

100% Historically EXACT replica of the Republic P-47D Thunderbolt an american multirole fighter of the WW2.

Read basic instructions below.

One of the most iconic and recognizable aircraft, the P-47D Thunderbolt was one of the main fighters of the USAF during the WW2 and was operative until 1947, it was easy to fly, hard to beat and very fast. The main problem was the size, it was the biggest fighter of the WW2 and, due to this, was easy to hit... but the solid contructio... on and the size makes it very structurally strong..
It was used as a multirole fighter, used both as fighter and bomber/ground attacker. Was one of the first planes to use a bubbletop cockpit, this version is sometimes called "Bubbletop P-47D".

This one is painted with the schemes of the 61st Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force, USAAF... The same plane that flies the Lt.Col.Francis "Gabby" Gabreski, one of the best WW2 aces, getting 28 victories with this aircraft.

Enjoy this amazing plane!
