This is a carrier update for my version of the old (New Zealand) RNZAF A-4K. Which were disbanded in the early 2000s by our stupid Prime Minister (long since out of power)
Controls
AG1: parachute (for short runways). AG2: Carrier gear detach (After Carrier Take Off)
AG3+Trim Slider:Trim (essential for level flight, but use NONE for carrier take-offs)
AG4: Tail hook
VTOL Slider: Flaps
Carrier take-offs are easy. Full power, no trim. Wait for the engines to spool to max power and hit the go very fast button! Pulling up the whole way should see you into the air and ready to take on the bad guys in no time!
Best carrier landing touchdown speed: 170Mph
Note: Be aware that landing will require almost full up trim, and touch down main wheels firs. Pull up as hard as you can once you trap the wire. Otherwise you may end up in a massive fireball!
