@KSPFSXandSP Nope, I don't like the sound of it, and what's more, I loathe anything loud -- whether it's people, cars, motorcycles, or anything else. Might as well name one of my planes Cancer.
@SledDriver Ok, how about Fortissimo? That means loud in italian
@KSPFSXandSP Hmm... not badass enough. I like names that sound good and mean something impressive, like Fortissimus -- fortis means "strong" in Latin, and Google Translate tells me that fortissimus means "champion."
Or how about Veritas for truth?
No lol I must have gotten it confused with something else it's been a while @SledDriver
@AfterShock Hmm, both my dictionary and Google Translate say that veteris means old. You trying to put one over on me?
veteris would be a good Latin name for one of your builds, it means memory @SledDriver
@SledDriver I've heard Dum vivimus, vivimus too but I couldn't remember what it was
@AfterShock That's good but perhaps too well-known. Others I like:
Si vis pacem, para bellum (If you want peace, prepare for war).
Generosus equus non curat canem latrantem (The well bred horse ignores the barking dog).
Ira furor brevis est (Anger is brief insanity).
Vasa vana plurimum sonant (hollow vessels make the most noise).
Dum vivimus, vivamus! (While we live, let us live!)
I'd say carpe diem because it's generic and I don't know many of them lol
@AfterShock Not sure what you're asking. I understand it means "the deep calls to the deep."
The literal translation? @SledDriver
@AfterShock My favorite Latin quote is "Abyssus abyssum invocat."
lol I took Latin I was curious @SledDriver
@AfterShock Haha no, I just like the sound of some Latin words. I have a Latin-English dictionary that I scan for cool-sounding words, and Google Translate helps as well.
Did you take Latin in high school?
True and your style is very unique @SledDriver
@AfterShock No problem. But to elaborate, most people only have one build style, so it's odd to expect multiple styles from one user. I've invented what is probably the most unique build style on SP, and intend to explore it as far as I can.
As for similarity, most conventional airplanes have the same basic structure: fuselage, engines, two wings, two elevators, one or two vertical stabilizers. Do you complain about the endless numbers of aircraft posted that have those attributes? There is more difference between any two of my builds than there is between an F-15 and an F-18, for instance.
Then, I have some builds that are strikingly unique, both on SimplePlanes and among my builds. Did you notice them?
I mean same build style but I see what you mean my builds aren't very good I shouldn't be judging others, sorry if I was rude :)@SledDriver
@AfterShock That's an odd and somewhat rude question to ask... how is this the same as any other of my builds? Similar, yes; same, no.
Do you ever get tired of the same builds?
@Waffleman3970 dark matter lol
What is this made of?!
@EternalDarkness Yeah, I'm all about efficiency.
For the first time, I dissected your build. Everything is in that one cylinder. Good trick.
