The Daedalus is, to my knowledge, the best-handling spaceship on SimplePlanes. Perfectly balanced, completely stable and highly maneuverable, it has no wings or control surfaces -- all maneuvering is done using thrusters.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Set both VTOL and throttle to 100%. Max VTOL exactly balances the Daedalus's weight, giving it neutral buoyancy. Then use:
- pitch to move up and down
- yaw to strafe left and right
- roll to turn
- AG1 to move forward
- AG2 to move backward
ARMAMENT
Two powerful cannons capable of sinking any ship in seconds. Because you never know.

@SledDriver yeah but I gotta hand it to ya it is one amazing build and very strong to. it can handel -300g compared to the expedition vhiche nird which can handel-999g but stability it Winn's hands down and also your builds are to good to be modified I can just look at one of my builds from my profile and it is mentioned for pure destruction but anyways all your builds are amazing so keep up the good work and I hope to see many more builds from you in the years to come. please do that for me and the asnwer to your question is a definite yes.
@Blackburn Yeah, its namesake, at least. Daedalus was one of the concepts thought up for interstellar ships back in the 60s or 70s, I think.
@dootdootbananabus Thanks. That's why the Space Shuttle is properly classified as a spaceplane, not a spaceship. The Shuttle can't really do much in space except stay in orbit, change its orbit a little, etc. It's like a boat that you can take a few miles out from shore, but not into the deep ocean.
