ES-23 (Big Heavy Complicated Thing)
Somehow this flies... It's got loads of power but also loads of drag. It was never intended to be perfect, but rather the complete opposite. I basically said to myself "let's make something overly complex in landing" So I made something that was so nose heavy that reducing the throttle would end in almost certain death. Anyway, how do you land this thing? Well, you use the VTOL slider. if you push it up, you engage some engines which stabilise the pitch when reducing the throttle... it'll probably take some getting used to. Activator 1 with VTOL up engages thrust reversers just in case you can't slow down fast enough... although, again it will take some getting used to. The next upload will be somewhat easier to fly... and a lot more pleasing to the eye too. Until then, happy flying... except landing... might cause some frustration.
